The 3.5 tonne dropside is the smaller of our two dropside classes: an open flat bed with sides that fold down. It suits bulky or awkward business loads that do not fit an enclosed van.
It is hired self-drive to businesses. You supply the driver, load and secure the load, and arrange your own suitable insurance.

Contract hire
Ask about contract hire rates for three, six or twelve months and longer. Lower rates depend on the vehicle and agreed commitment.

How is a dropside different from a tipper?
A dropside has a flat open bed with sides that fold down for loading. A tipper raises its body to discharge loose material. Choose by the way you load and unload.
Is a crane or loading equipment included?
Not as standard. Ask the hire desk what is fitted to the vehicle you would get.
Is insurance included?
No. Tilly Hire does not provide motor insurance. You must arrange suitable cover for the specific hired vehicle under your own business or fleet policy.
Can I hire over a weekend?
