What is a dropside lorry?
A dropside has an open flat bed with sides that fold down, so the bed can be loaded from the side as well as the back. It suits bulky and awkward business loads that do not fit an enclosed van.
Do you provide loading equipment or a crane?
Not as standard. Ask the hire desk what is fitted to the vehicle you would get, and plan to load and secure the load yourselves.
Is 3.5 or 7.5 tonne the weight I can carry?
No. Both figures are gross vehicle weight, which includes the vehicle itself. The payload is lower and varies by vehicle. Ask the hire desk to confirm it for your hire.
